Hello 2020!

Goodbye 2019!!!

It has been a very busy year for me. So where do I begin…I guess I will get out my calendar to start and try to fill you in on the highlights.

I spent most of the winter in Florida. Where I played tennis almost everyday in Boca or Miami. I went to Las Vegas twice and Highpoint NC to show my rug collection to the trade. I am very proud of the business we’ve built this year with my Jill Zarin rugs. And I’m so pleased to announce my outdoor collection will be on sale March 1, 2020!

I invested in two hit Broadway shows - “Ain’t Too Proud” and “Beetlejuice” which was such a fun experience.

I went to Nashville to John Rich’s house for a St. Jude Hospital fundraiser.

I went to a lot of the Miami Tennis Open with Gary.

I hosted Passover in Boca for the first time and everyone came.

I went to London for Allyson’s graduation from Sotheby’s Institute of Art where she got her Master’s!

In June I went to Nadal’s tennis camp in Mallorca, Spain with my girlfriends.

I spent some summer weekends in the Hamptons and Fire Island. It was the second summer we didn’t have a place in the Hamptons and I loved it! It was great not having a fixed schedule. I had the flexibility to go wherever we wanted at the last minute.

Of course, I was at the US Open in September where I watched my friend Bethanie Mattek-Sands win the mixed doubles trophy!

BravoCon was definitely a highlight of 2019. I loved meeting all the Bravo fans and reminiscing! I also had a chance to show my rug collection in person at the Bravo Bazaar which was a great success.

Thanksgiving in Boca… Very different than NYC for sure, but it was wonderful to play tennis outside and then watch the parade on TV.

I would say that 2019 was a year of personal and professional growth. I haven’t spent this much time in one place (well actually two - NYC and Boca) in many many years. Bobby and I used to love to travel, and I still do but I needed to feel grounded in one place this year. I am in a new relationship and need time to nurture that as well as nurture my growing brand Jill Zarin Home. I have many new and exciting products coming out in 2020 and beyond and I can’t wait to share the news with you when it’s all ready.
